MOD’s CEO Angel Sinclair, a former model herself, founded the Models of Diversity campaign over 15 years ago, following her appearance on Gok’s Miss Naked Beauty in 2008. This experience opened Angel’s eyes to the narrow range of models being represented in the fashion, beauty, and clothing industries. It sparked her passion for promoting diversity and inclusivity in all its forms, including race, shape, age, and ability.

Angel’s vision to celebrate the beauty of every soul and body is now the driving force behind the Models of Diversity. Today, Models of Diversity is an established charity that continues to push for the fashion and beauty industries to create products that cater to the real bodies and diverse people they are selling to.
