Our Workshops

Camera Confidence Workshops

Unrealistic perfect body images depicted in media can cause damage to individuals' self-esteem and body image. The constant bombardment of images portraying the 'ideal' body type can lead to unrealistic expectations and feelings of inadequacy. This can result in harmful behaviors such as disordered eating, excessive exercise, and even mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. It's important to recognize and challenge these unrealistic beauty standards and promote body positivity and inclusivity.

Our Camera Confidence Workshops aim to help people combat the negative effects this pressure has had on them. The workshops aim to boost self confidence and are an effective way to help people develop self-assurance. Offering a range of activities and exercises aimed at helping individuals overcome insecurities about their physical appearance and build a positive self-image.

During the 5 hour course participants will learn techniques to manage image anxiety, practice presenting themselves in a confident manner and be encouraged to feel confident in their own skin. The workshops benefit individuals from all backgrounds and abilities.

Our aim is to increase confidence, by showing attendees that every body has its beauty regardless of size, gender or physical appearance and your personality can shine through. Run by models who themselves would be classed by the industry as 'out of the ordinary' or 'diverse' alongside an experienced and patient photographer who is expert at bringing out the best of people in front of the camera, attendees will leave the workshop with a renewed sense of self and achievement of facing their image issues. The combined life experience of the group will also help them to see the beauty that everyone else sees in themselves. This new confidence can lead to greater success and fulfillment in all aspects of life.

We believe everyone should feel confident in front of the camera and all bodies are beautiful. Everyone deserves to feel confident having their photograph taken. If the beauty , fashion and media industries used diverse models that represented all bodies more often then more of us would benefit from better self image too.
